Bulgaria Revisited

Hunky’s in Bishop Arts District in Dallas will host my solo show Bulgaria Revisited from December 4 to January 19. The opening reception will be on Saturday, December 5, at 7 pm, in conjunction with Bishops Arts Jingle Bells.

From the announcement:

Located in Southeastern Europe, Bulgaria is nestled between Greece, Turkey, the Black Sea and the Danube River. It is a juxtaposition of modern city skylines and idyllic countryside, of cosmopolitan aspirations and pockets of traditional ways of life. After emerging from communism 20 years ago, signs of traditional everyday life are quickly disappearing. The images presented in this exhibition capture the spirit of people, places and emotions as they exist today.

This exhibit commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall.
